I'd like to introduce you guys to living legend, from Cocoa Beach Florida, my friend Pat O'Hare. While West Coast surfboard shapers get the publicity and hype that surrounds the modern surfing industry, and attempt to reach back into yester years for inspiration and try to recreate golden moments in surfing history they forget that there are still some true legends amoung us. Pat is a humble soft spoken gentleman, a family man, a true artisan and lover of the ocean.Conversations with him are like a whos who of surfing history, without the cheesy name dropping he'll recollect shaping boards for Greg Noll back in the 60's or riding waves with Miki Dora even teaching Britains own legend and world champion Rodney Sumpter how to shape using an electric plane.
Pat's longboards are collectors items each one hand crafted by a master craftsman and finished with the most wonderful resin work. I'm looking to bring back some boards at the end of summer so if you'd like to be on the list for when they arrive or put in a custom order email me on trading@peelhouse.wandoo.co.uk

Aloha. I just came across your blog by accident. Pat is a friend of mine and a true artist. Look at one of his boards, and you'll fall in love. Ride one of his boards, and you'll marry it.
